Covid-19 updates

What an interesting time we are living in! If you are confused about planning your summer getaways, well you are not alone. We will do our best to keep you updated here so you can feel confident in booking a stay or coming out for the day! We are planning to open May 1, 2020 for day use/picnicking/grasslands access, 8:00 am to sundown. (12:00 noon, Sundays) We believe we meet the CDC and Health District guidelines as an outdoor venue for local travelers.

We will have the Mercantile open and stocked with local goods including a variety of items to add to or even make your picnic lunch complete. We have added a large grill to the patio and it will be available to use. The Village buildings will be open to enjoy and the pool will become available to the public as the weather permits. We are asking that you leave a small donation to help us cover the costs of keeping the Village clean per the recommended guidelines. And we remind you to take whatever personal health precautions you need to feel safe out here.

We are accepting lodging bookings now starting in mid May, here on the website. We will follow the changing guidelines for lodging guest from out of state stays as they evolve. We have made some changes to the lodging facilities to help make your stay with us safer during this uncertain time.

All the mattress have vinyl covers to allow for thorough disinfecting between guests. We are encouraging you to consider our "glamping" model by providing your own bedding and towels, guaranteeing no contamination. We will provide our linens to you for a small laundry fee. Note that option on your booking. We have replaced the blinds in each room with paper 'Lysol-able', replaceable shades for this season to limit contact spread. We have completely enclosed and remodeled the community kitchen so that it is comfortable to use and very easy to clean. We have deep cleaned all the rooms and as always will do a thorough cleaning between all guests. We still offer a continental breakfast, but to eliminate any cross contact we are asking you to fill out an order form and we will deliver your breakfast to your room the evening before.

All the rooms have a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker as well as PUR water filters on the sinks. And as always an assortment of coffees, teas and hot cocoa for your enjoyment. The saloon building will still be open for seating in small groups, and will have a microwave and toaster along with the community kitchen next door for all to share.

We will do our best to meet and exceed all the guidelines as this situation changes. We will update this blog post as needed. Please feel free to call us (308-665-2592) if you have any questions or need more information. We hope to see you all out here soon. Be blessed and stay healthy!
