Work week happenings!

It has been to long since we posted and a lot has happened out here at the homestead. It has been a fun and full season with many wonderful guests enjoying time here in this amazing place. With fall fast approaching and the short calm in bookings before the fall rush starts we took advantage and had a family work week. All our sons and families came out and we got busy. In one week we re-shingled the most damaged roof on the 4-plex, dug out and re-enforced the plumbing access tunnel, cleaned and sealed all the board walks, painted all the doors and windows in the bunk houses, sealed the pool deck and re-painted all the village building signs. Whew! There is lots more to do. We are still waiting for an insurance decision as to coverage from the March storm. Hopefully that will help us line out our winter projects.
